Slingshot primarily used email with our client, Texas Tourism or we would use a secure download that required many steps and a lot of work on both sides of the exchange.

Since Texas Tourism is a governmental agency, it has many restrictions on downloading files from unknown sources. As a result, we often had difficulty sending them any files larger than 8MB.

Please describe in detail the ways in which Simian addressed these needs, challenges or problems.

With Simian, we are now able to house hundreds of images and files that are easily accessed at any time by Slingshot and/or our client, Texas Tourism. Now, we can combine files and show them as a presentation or simply send the client a direct link to the file from them to view or download at their leisure.

In addition, Simian has worked with us to set up some intricately customized rules and categories for those trying to download housed images. Simian has been extremely helpful and responsive throughout this process.

Please describe in detail, the overall benefit that was achieved as a result of using Simian. This can include additional revenue or products related to a specific job or project.

Overall, we have been very pleased with the results since switching to Simian. Our client is happier, which means we are too! We’re able to be more efficient with our time and completely trust that our contacts at Simian are working hard to make the site exactly what we need it to be.
