About

Simian is media sharing, evolved. Used by top entertainment and media companies, as well as ad agencies, production, post houses, and individual creatives, the platform provides a better way to share, review and present video assets.

Our Story

Founded in 2009 by childhood friends Brian Atton and Jay Brooks, Simian was built on a foundation of expertise in web and software development. After working on several websites for content creators, the two saw the need for a more versatile tool that would increase efficiency and collaboration. A shared passion for technology drives the two to constantly push and evolve the platform, updating it in game-changing ways with the latest innovations.

As it continues to explore different ways to stay ahead of its competitors, Simian has become the preferred method of sharing, reviewing, and presenting work in several different industries.
