Static Links
Topic: Knowledge Base / Web Site Integration
The Simian Static Link feature allows you to embed a permanent link on your company website to a reel that is saved in the “Web / API” section of your Reel Library.
After you build a reel, save it to the "Web / API" section of your Reel Library. (Important: You must have user access to save a reel to the "Web / API" section. If you do not have access, please contact your system administrator.)
Once the reel is saved to the "Web / API" section, go to the Reel Library and click on the "Web / API" tab. Find the reel that you just saved and select “Integration” from the drop down menu. See screenshot below.

Within the “Reel Integration” window, see where it says, “Static Link” and copy the URL that is displayed. This URL link should be used to embed a permanent link to the reel on your website. See screenshot below.

As long as you do not delete the reel from the “Web / API” section of your reel library, it will always work. Changes can be made to the reel by selecting “Edit” from the drop down in the Reel Library. Since this is a static link, it will automatically play the most current version of the reel when a user clicks the link from the website.
