When you are logged into your Simian account you can go to the lower left corner of any Simian page and you will find links to access various Simian Settings as well as links for contacting the Simian Support Staff.

Under “Simian” we have 3 different links that will give us access to information about our account as well as access to our default settings for our Simian account. Lower level Simian users may not have access to some of these links.

System Info - This link will open a window and provide you with information about the storage capacity of your Simian account. It will tell you what your storage limit is, and how much of that storage you are currently using. It will also give you a break down of how much storage is being used by your Media Library & how much is being used by your Projects section.

Account Info - This link will open a window where you can fill in your company address & contact information that will be displayed in your email templates. From this window you can also set default settings for your Reels & Projects.

System Stats - This link will take you to a page that will give you background information on your Simian account. It will give you an overview on how many user login accounts you have as well as how many spots are in your Media Library & how many Projects you have. You can also get a breakdown of your media by Category & by User.

Under “Contact” we have 3 different links that will allow you to email the Simian Support Staff with any questions or issues you may have with the use of Simian. Contact Us - This link can be used to contact Simian Support with any general questions you may have regarding the use of Simian, such as “Is there a limit to how much media I can upload to my project folder?”.

Suggest a Feature - This link can be used to suggest a feature for a future release of Simian. We always look forward to suggestion from our clients as Simian is mainly built around client feedback. A lot of Simian features that you enjoy using every day have come from this link.

Report an Issue - This link can be used to contact Simian Support with any issues you may come across while using your Simian account such as “I uploaded a file to my project and I received an error when the upload completed. Please make sure to include as much information as you can when reporting an issue to Simian. Including things like the file name, project name, reel title, error message displayed, all of these types of information will allow the Simian Support Staff to analyze your issue and get back to you in a timely manner. Always remember, the more information the better!
