Upgrading to Simian 2.0

Login to 2.0
To access Simian 2.0, go to your current log in screen on your browser. Replace "login.php" located at the end of the URL and replace it with "v2”. It should look like this http://companyname.gosimian.com/v2 and hit enter to go to the Simian 2.0 login page. (Companyname should appear as your company’s name.) Then, use your existing username and password to log in.

Note: All of your media, reels, and projects are preserved and accessible via Simian 2.0.

Email and Presentation Templates
Templates from the old version are not compatible with 2.0. Once you upgrade, you will only be able to select templates in the new version.

Reel Analytics
The section called History & Stats is now called Reel Analytics and stores all of your sent reels. If you sent a reel from the old version, statistics on that reel will not be available in Simian 2.0. We recommend that all of your users upgrade to Simian 2.0 to take advantage of the new analytics feature.

Projects
The folder structure and templates are different in Simian 2.0. Due to this, if you have projects in progress in the old version, you have two options:

1- Continue to manage the existing project in the old version, or
2- Replicate the project by creating a new one in Simian 2.0 (make sure to upload the media into the new project in Simian 2.0.) Once you set this up, you can delete the old version.

Note: Once a project in the old version is deleted, any prior links sent out for this project will no longer be valid. Make sure to send your users a link to the project in the new Simian 2.0 version.
